Instrumental Explorations-R

Classes: Wednesday 4:00, Thursday 4:00 or 5:30 + Saturday 2:30

Prerequisites: None (although it is helpful if the student has completed Kindermusik Young Child I, it is not mandatory)

Adult Participation: Although it is not required, it is best for both the student and parent (or supervising adult) to stay and observe the class (i.e. learn by observation). There is a 15-20 minute “Sharing Time” at the last part of the class in which the accompanying adult does join in with the student.

Materials: Because the curriculum requires the entire 32 weeks and there is an enormous amount of materials to be distributed during the course of the year, these materials will be handed out at even intervals when appropriate. They are as follows:
Kindermusik for the Young Child Semester 3 student packet ( CD, folder, songbook, activity pages, activity cards, and manipulatives, dulcimer and carry bag)
Recorder, carry bag and songbook, Recorder Karate and cd
Intoduction to Music Makers: At the Keyboard Volume I and 2 CD’s
Note reading flashcards, solfege cards, carry pouches, and much, much more.

Sibling Policy: Due to the specific design of the curriculum, it is necessary that each student have a set of materials thus a sibling discount is not available.
